National Student Clearinghouse KACRAO 2016


KACRAO is a nonprofit, voluntary, professional association of more than 400 higher education administrators who represent nearly 80 institutions and agencies in the State of Kansas.

This website serves as the official communication tool for the Association. The KACRAO website contains many resources for its members. The Member Services section is a password-protected KACRAO members only section that includes the KACRAO membership directories, high school directories, and College Planning Conferences schedules as well as other resources.

Apply Kansas!

Apply Kansas is a state-wide initiative aiming to provide more students with the opportunity to apply to college, while specifically focusing on low-income and first-generation students. The goal of Apply Kansas is to ensure that 60 percent of Kansas residents have a college degree or credential by 2020. In its pilot phase, Apply Kansas worked with thousands of students at 11 high schools in 2015 to help guide them through the college application process. Planning for College Workshops:

The Planning for College presentation is a free opportunity for your students to gain valuable information on how to plan for college! Issues discussed during the presentation include: the importance of the ACT and GPA, how to get the most of local college fairs, visiting a college campus, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, as well as, allowing student to realize all their options when considering the many institutions in Kansas.
